The Love Lagos concept was founded by DJ Bellcheque, the masked Nigerian DJ who has decided to use her skills as a DJ to touch lives in this season of Love . Rather than just partying, buying gifts for our lovers and making merry every time it’s Valentine season, there is the need for us to think about people in the hospitals, on the streets, under the bridges, in the prisons, people who have lost all hope. These people are not thinking of cakes and roses on Valentine’s Day, they are thinking of how to survive till the next day! Some of them don’t even know what a Valentine’s Day is. Yes we cannot help everybody but hey! It is the season of love so we can try in our own little way.
So It is for this reason that DJ Bellcheque has come up with the concept called #LOVELAGOS.
Love Lagos is basically for those of us who came to Lagos and our lives changed for the better. It is time for us to make little changes in the lives of others during this season of love .
Let us give to those people who are also in this Lagos but are not fortunate enough to be in our position, people who have never heard of Valentine’s Day candlelight dinners but will do anything for a hot plate of food, Children who have never received toys, sick people in hospitals who can’t afford their medication. Let’s celebrate
Valentine’s Day for them the little way we can. Come to Bics Garden on the 13th of February 2018 and let’s party so other people can have a happy Valentine’s Day!
